Operating revenue is obtained through a variety of sources. The Ministry of Health of Health and Long Term Care mandates AY to provide substance use services to youth and thus provides the majority of the organization’s funding and accountabilities. AY also receives financial support from the Burlington, Hamilton-Wentworth United Way and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. The Health and Social Services Department of the City of Hamilton historically has provided an annual grant. AY seeks grants and donations to continue to provide innovative programs in response to the growing and changing needs of youth in our community.
